JS FITTINGS manufactures and supplies ASME B16.47 large diameter flanges for distributors, stockists, EPC contractors, trading companies and industrial buyers worldwide. ASME B16.47 is the ASME standard specifically covering large diameter steel flanges from NPS 26 through NPS 60. The standard includes Class 75, 150, 300, 400, 600 and 900 and defines requirements for pressure-temperature ratings, materials, dimensions, tolerances, marking and testing. Note: The exact material grade, pressure-temperature rating, flange dimensions, bore, facing and inspection requirements should be confirmed against the applicable standard and project specification before production. Large diameter flanges are used where piping systems exceed the size range covered by ASME B16.5. For example: NPS 24″ → ASME B16.5 JS FITTINGS supplies large-diameter flanges within the ASME B16.47 size range, from NPS 26″ through NPS 60″, subject to the selected flange type, material and pressure class. Typical requirements include: 26″ | 28″ | 30″ | 32″ | 34″ | 36″ | 38″ | 40″ | 42″ | 44″ | 46″ | 48″ | 50″ | 52″ | 54″ | 56″ | 58″ | 60″ For requirements outside the standard B16.47 range, such as larger custom-diameter flanges, manufacturing can be discussed according to customer drawings, dimensions and project requirements. Standard B16.47 range: NPS 26″–60″ Custom large diameter flange: Subject to drawing and technical review. This distinction is important for buyers: a custom 70″ or 80″ flange should not automatically be described as an ASME B16.47 flange, because B16.47 itself covers NPS 26 through NPS 60. This standard covers two distinct series of flanges: Series A (formerly MSS SP-44) and Series B (formerly API 605). While both series cover large diameters, they are not interchangeable due to differences in bolt circle diameters and dimensions. Series A Flanges Series B Flanges Note: JS FITTINGS recommends Series A for high-pressure industrial pipelines and Series B for commercial refinery retrofits. Weld Neck Flanges are commonly selected for demanding piping systems where the flange-to-pipe connection requires a welded, tapered-hub design. Typical applications include: For projects requiring a specific bore, schedule or pipe wall thickness, the flange bore should be confirmed before production. Blind flanges are used to close the end of a piping system, equipment nozzle or pipeline section. Typical applications include: Blind flange dimensions, pressure class, facing and material should match the mating connection and project specification. Not every industrial project uses a standard stock configuration. JS FITTINGS can review customer drawings and project specifications for requirements involving: Send the drawing together with the required quantity and material specification for technical review. Common requirements include: A common facing configuration for industrial piping and process applications. Used for specific piping and equipment connections where a flat-face configuration is required. Used in selected high-pressure and critical service applications where the project specification requires a ring-type joint connection. If you are replacing an existing flange, providing the facing type and a dimensional drawing can help avoid ordering errors. For industrial buyers, a flange is not complete when it leaves the machining line. Material traceability, dimensions and documentation are also part of the purchasing requirement. JS FITTINGS can arrange inspection and documentation according to order requirements. The exact inspection plan and documentation package should be confirmed before production. If you are buying flanges for resale, stocking or multiple customer projects, the purchasing requirement is different from a one-time project order. JS FITTINGS works with distributors, stockists, trading companies and industrial buyers that need repeat supply of steel flanges and piping products. Our production and export capabilities include: JS FITTINGS operates dedicated production lines for pipe fittings and flanges and currently reports monthly output of approximately 700 tons of flanges and 800 tons of pipe fittings. The company also reports exports to more than 100 countries. ASME B16.47 covers large diameter steel flanges from NPS 26 through NPS 60. Series A and Series B are different dimensional configurations within ASME B16.47. Their flange and bolting dimensions are not identical, so the required series should be confirmed before ordering. Yes, NPS 26 is within the ASME B16.47 size range. The exact flange type, series, pressure class, material and facing should be specified when requesting a quotation. Yes, NPS 36 Class 300 is within the B16.47 range. The RFQ should also specify Series A or Series B, flange type, material, facing and inspection requirements. Depending on the project, materials can include carbon steel such as ASTM A105/A105N, low-temperature carbon steel such as ASTM A350 LF2, stainless steel ASTM A182 grades and alloy steel grades. Yes. ASTM A105/A105N is available for carbon steel flange requirements subject to the applicable size, series, class and project specification. Yes. EN 10204 3.1 material documentation can be arranged according to the order requirements. Yes. For non-standard dimensions or project-specific requirements, send the drawing together with the material, quantity and applicable standard for technical review. At minimum, provide the standard, size, series, pressure class, flange type, material and quantity. Facing, bore, inspection and documentation requirements should also be included where applicable. Need ASME B16.47 Series A or Series B flanges for stock, distribution or an industrial project? Send us your flange list, drawing or purchase specification. We can review: Size | Series | Class | Material | Facing | Quantity | Inspection | Documentation Whether you need a small trial order, a container shipment or regular stock replenishment, our team can review the requirement and provide a factory quotation.
