Project Overview

JS FITTINGS completed a comprehensive supply contract for a municipal drainage system project in Hungary. This project involved the manufacturing and coordination of a high-volume order of piping components, totaling over 10,000 pieces. As the project was part of European municipal infrastructure, strict adherence to EN standards and precise dimensional tolerances were mandatory.

Technical Specifications

To meet the specific requirements of the drainage network, we supplied a mix of flanges and butt-weld fittings in various configurations:

• Products Supplied:

  • Flanges: Blind Flanges, Plate Flanges, and Weld-neck Flanges.

  • Fittings: A full range of Butt-weld Pipe Fittings.

• Standards: EN 1092 (for Flanges) and EN 10253 (for Fittings).

• Material: Carbon Steel.

• Pressure Ratings: PN10 and PN16.

• Size Range: DN15 to DN300.

• Precision Control: Thickness tolerances were strictly maintained within 1mm or 12.5% as per technical drawings.

• Surface Treatment: All items were treated with high-quality anti-rust oil to prevent corrosion during sea transit and site storage.

Production and Capacity

The order consisted of 10,592 individual pieces, with a total net weight of 20 tons.
JS FITTINGS managed the entire production cycle in-house, ensuring that the diverse range of sizes—from small-bore DN15 components to larger DN300 units—met the same quality benchmark. Handling a 20-ton single-batch shipment demonstrates our factory’s capability to maintain high throughput while ensuring 100% traceability for European market exports.

Packaging and Logistics

Given the long-distance maritime transport to Europe, packaging integrity was a priority:

• Packaging: All products were packed into reinforced fumigation-free plywood cases and secured on heavy-duty pallets.

• Mode of Transport: Sea Freight.

• Logistics Handling: We coordinated the loading and shipping to ensure the 20-ton cargo was optimized for container space, reducing landed costs for the client while ensuring zero damage upon arrival in Hungary.

Outcome

By delivering 10,592 pieces on schedule and in full compliance with EN standards, JS FITTINGS helped ensure the municipal project remained on track.
